The Hungry Fox has recently passed stringent tests and their beer is now Cask-Mark accredited. This award is granted to drinking establishments that possess high standards when it comes the keeping and dispenseing of cask ales. We have passed several tests and the accreditation is ongoing. So here's to the continuing high standards in our Real Ale.

Broadside 4.7%

BROADSIDE is a premium cask bitter for the most demanding drinker. Rich, fruitcake aromas – almonds, zest and conserved fruit – with balanced malt and hop flavours.
Brewed by Adnams in Southwold.

Deuchars IPA 3.8%

DEUCHARS IPA is a pale gold colour, with intense hop flavours and aromas balanced by a traditional, soft maltiness. An exceptionally refreshing ale.
Brewed by the Caledonian Brewing Co. based in Edinburgh.
 

Paradise Ale 4.2%

PARADISE ALE is full-bodied, using pale ale malt and an exotic blend of Old and New World full hop flowers including Cascade to give a light, lusciously flavoured fruity taste of Paradise!
Brewed by Theakston at its' Masham Brewery

Tiger 4.2%

TIGER is a true best bitter, with a clean, well balanced, malty, hoppy flavour and a delightful, hop-filled aroma. Long, dry, satisfying finish.
Brewed by Everards at it's brewery in Narborough, Leicestershire.
 

  Theakston XB 4.5%

Theakston XB is a premium strength, ruby coloured bitter with a complex aroma, full body and rich flavour: a beer to savour. Hoppy bitterness is offset by fruitiness.



Henry's IPA 3.6%

HENRY'S IPA is golden brown in colour, and has a gentle malt/hop aroma with long-lasting, biscuity aftertaste. Light, refreshing and sessionable.
Brewed by Wadworth in Devizes, Wiltshire.
 

Doctor Okell's IPA 4.5%

DOCTOR OKELL'S IPA is light in colour, with a full-bodied taste. Sweetness, offset by a strong hopping rate, gives an overall roundness, spicy, lemony notes and a fine, dry finish.
Brewed by Okell's, Isle of Man.

 

Valiant 4.2%

VALIANT is a delicious, golden beer made with Syrian and Challenger hops for a clean, deliciously crisp and zesty taste.
Brewed by Batemans in Wainfleet, Lincolnshire.

 

Old Mill Bitter (3.9%)

OLD MILL BITTER has a full, malty palate that is balanced by a crisp, hop flavour, giving a clean, dry finish with delicate fruit notes.
Brewed by The Old Mill Brewery in Goole, East Yorkshire.

 

Resolution (4.7%)

RESOLUTION has quality, character and full flavour. Double fermentation turns all sugar to alcohol for a strong, refreshing beer that’s less filling and easy-drinking.
Brewed at Marston's Brewery in Burton-on-Trent.
 

 

Cooper's Butt 4.3%

COOPER'S BUTT is an amber-red, full-bodied bitter in classic IPA style. Robust in flavour, Golding and Fuggle hops give a pronounced, citrous taste and aroma.

Old Speckled Hen 5.2%

OLD SPECKLED HEN is golden amber-red, with a wonderful, warm flavour. Malt loaf and toffee flavours combine with bitterness for a balanced sweetness.
Brewed at the Westgate Brewery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

 

Abbot Ale 5.0%

ABBOT ALE is full flavoured, smooth and mature, with masses of ripe fruit characteristics. Malty richness and superb hop balance.
Brewed by Greene King at the Westgate Brewery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

 

John Bull Bitter 4.1%


JOHN BULL BITTER is a deep coloured premium ale with a cherry fruitiness, bittersweet on the palate. Complex, satisfying finish.
Brewed by Charles Wells at the Eagle Brewery in Bedford.

Strongarm 4.0%

STRONGARM is a well-rounded, ruby-red ale with a distinctive, tight, creamy head. There is a good balance of malt, hops and bitterness.
Brewed by Camerons at the Lion Brewery in Hartlepool.
